Default Triumph TF250X

This looks interesting.

I wonder if Triumph will drop that engine into a learner legal road chassis at some stage.

One of my sister's boyfriends had a Triumph Blazer 250 in the mid-70s. Quite a good-looking bike, Triumph could do worse than borrow some styling cues from it:

Or hark back to the Trophy 250 from 1970 --

The kind of bike that if something goes wrong on a trip, you just leave it there and take an intercity bus home.

Oh drool! That Trummy. Just love the old styling of the air cooled bikes, and none were better at it than Triumph (my opinion) apart from the Cub perhaps (but that is all I could afford in 67.) If only they had made them oil tight and a bit more reliable then they may well have had a future going on.
