Default SV650 Build

Hi All,

Just joined the forum and I thought I would tell you about my SV, I bought it as a box of bits a couple of years ago and have finally got round to starting to put it back together. Got the swinging arm, wiring loom and engine in this week but held up for a couple of missing bits so hope to make more progress once bits start to arrive.
It has obviously had a lot of money spent on it, all fasteners are titanium, forged wheels, M4 exhaust, SV1000 swing arm (I think), GSXR Forks (I think) fancy resets etc. and I am told it has a 700cc engine but took that with a pinch of salt, I shall get it dyno tested when rebuilt and that will give an insight into the engine.

I will upload some pictures when I suss out how to do it.

Cheers,

Martin

It's possible, big bores do exist.. Should be fairly obvious on a dyno I would think

The big bore might be a James Holland adaption.

Well after trying to upload photos I give up.

I followed the instructions but every time it tells me it is an invalid format, the photos are 120kb jpegs
I tried hosting on google, insert image, but when I preview the post it just shows the URL, no image

The forum image hosting has been broken for years unfortunately. I would suggest using imgur.com. I usually upload at 1280 x 1024. When you have then uploaded to imgur copy the 'BBCode' and paste on here

postimg.cc is also really good, if that helps.

Thank you Darren for help with photos, that is assuming this works!

Can anyone confirm the swing arm and front forks?

You could contact James at JHS racing and see if he has any recollection of working on it to get some clues about the engine cc.
