Sounds like you've had an off?

Lower fairings in your colour are as rare as mine.

Yep and yep. Frigging ice. What are those little black vent like bits called that go at the join of the upper and lower fairings at the front on a curvy?

I wouldn't bother trying to find lowers in your colour, they're so rare, as are the little air scoops.

As you've got the fittings, get some of these, no more expensive than 2nd hand lowers, but made in GRP I think. So much tougher than OEM lowers.

You'll need to get them sprayed, but that's what I had to do when I bought my lowers, silver ones are uber rare, so I got OEM blue ones sprayed.

I'm going to get some of these, as my lowers broke round the rear mount & are impossible to fix

Hi guys, thanks for your wishes. Yeah, just a couple of broken ribs so a few weeks of discomfort and I'll be fine.

sl0th86 has kindly offered me an original front brake lever. I am hoping to pick up some tips on straightening the rear brake lever (in my experience cast ali doesn't like the trip back to straightness). The fairing lower isn't cracked, just got tarmac rash and I have the name of a company somewhere that sells the paint which is very expensive because it is a candy finish so has two parts plus the lacquer.

EDIT: RS Bike Paint - Candy Antares Red £65.50 (!).

I need someone who is brilliant at filling and painting.

Maviczap: Those fairing lowers are still going to need painting so I will stick with the originals thanks.. I've been lucky I suppose, although it doesn't feel like it.

Yep, if yours are only scrsped then no point buying the others.

The paint is scary expensive!

Hope the ribs heal soon, bloomin painful

I know a couple of places up my way who do spraying (he is doing mine on the 7th, with filler too). Not sure if that is of help though Blapper, I can get a quote if you prefer?

I don't have anything other than the brake lever to offer you though.

Oh damn, broken ribs . Get well soon mate, your braver than me, I won't go out when the weather is like this
