In which case you will be in big trouble. development experience is not something you can bluff. Even simple stuff like .net requires you to have some knowledge of the framework and a good understanding of object orientated programming and methodologies.
Be honest, tell them it is an area you wish to explore. As a junior support tech you will start off with the simple stuff and hopefully get some training. If it is not on offer, walk away

Sure you'll have earned a few months wages by then (if you're lucky), but then you'll have to explain to future prospective employers why you were fired. Not a good situation to be in IMHO ... be honest with them. Emphasise what you CAN bring to their business, and stress your willingness to learn new skills (like programming and .net). You never know, they may give you a go, and with a bit of training, you could find a nice new career Good luck with it though Pete |
