Default Helmets for the larger foreheaded gentleman

Can anyone recommend good helmets for people with big foreheads!

I bought a couple last year that fit fine in the shop, but after an hour on the bike my head is throbbing and has big red marks on my forehead. I've tried Arai and AVG in size large

Cheers

if the helmet you have has a removable liner then just sand down the polystyrene till it fits properly. as long as you dont crush it it will be fine. the polystyrene in a helmet is to absorb the impact and is designed to crush so your brain has less chance of smashing into your skull. bit like a crumple zone in a car. or try a size up with size down cheek pads.

I was thinking of trying that but wasn't sure how dodgy it is. May as well give it a go since I've got 2 helmets that don't fit now.

Next size up rattles around on my head

AVG do an XXL shell. Stepson needs one cause his head is as big as herman munsters. Find a helmet city near you and try a few on.
