Default technical help needed, beer vouchers offered in return

I have got a gixxer 1000 shock and new fork springs on their way to me. I possess neither the technical know how nor the tools/paddock stands etc to do the job myself.

I am keen to learn and assist someone competent in the spannering department who can swap the original shock, fork springs and oil.

Would be happy to make a contribution to your drinking fund in return.

any suggestions welcome, either reply here or by PM.

thanks.

Will

Anyway, springs not a problem, rear shock not a problem, tools, paddock stands etc, not a problem, time, though is. A couple of weeks time, maybe, but pretty busy as of late. Sorry

Will... Likewise to the rodent... can lend a hand as have done both of these now!

For the Gixxer shock, get yourself to a Suzuki dealer and order the following nut and bolt:

1 x 09103-10143 BOLT
1 x 08319-31107 NUT

You will need them to secure the lower end of the shock to the suspension linkage.
