Re: engineers report
right ok. Bambi squashed me forks(deer vs SV650....Dizzy won, bambi dead, SV got a hairline bend in stancion). I have a 2000 S.
YC did a front end swap (gixxer) and i bought his nakid forks(his bikes younger) The only difference between them was, on the bottom of my S forks below the axle jobbie I had 2 bolts, the ones I replaced them with had one......thats it. Same length, same everything.

Re: engineers report
iv just found in my sv650 haynes manual this ...
sv650-k2 and sv650s-k2 apart from the front forks being fitted with pre-load adjusters, the model was otherwise unchanged from the previous year. dose it matter that they have pre-load adjusters and also what do they do ??
