Default carb question - Again

I have the manual, i have been to the dealer, but bothe not much use,
Can anyone on here tell me on which slot on the main carb needle the e clip goes, there are only 5 options, dealer thinks middle?

Dont want to run the bike to rich or to lean!

What do u think?

As standard it should be on the third from top (blunt end).

Mine was on second from the top, I did put it in the middle but only recently put it back the way it was.
Runs much better in the hot weather now
