My Remus baffle, fizz's blue flame on his SV and his yoshi on his Gixxer all have baffles that are just pipes nothing more. Not sure how it works but it does.

Can't explain that, but it definatly made a difference on my Remus, and Fizz says it makes a huge difference on his Blue Flame.

Not exactly the same thing, but I had a micron can ages ago, the tube (baffle) inside it has holes in it, and was wrapped with some sort of matting a bit like fibreglass only a lot more heat resistant.

For what it's worth my LeoVince exhaust is just a short metal tube with no kind of perforations / baffle etc, and is open at one end but closed at the (internal) end. Looks like a bit of a crude d***do! (If you don't know what one is go ask your mum).
There was VERY LITTTLE difference to the noise with the baffle in or out but it was a slightly "softer" noise with the baffle in.... So I took it out! |

Ive got a Beta can and pipework, it is not road legal "apparently". It has not markings on it either way, so you "may" pass an MOT.
If you want a baffle, just get one from the Delta can and fit it, or probably nearly every other can manuf and most will just require a hole to be drilled for the bolt/rivet.
