Default engine bobbins

Just received some engine protector bobbins that mount with a bolt that goes through the engine. The original bolt is 12mm diameter and a fairly loose fit so easy to remove. The replacement bolt is only 10mm diameter so will be a looser fit. I presume there are projections on the engine that fit into the holes in the frame to take the weight of the engine ,otherwise the engine would be loose on the bolt ! Does anybody know if this is right ?

would help if you told us what year of bike you have, otherwise we will have to consult a crystal ball.

Sorry, it is a 2020 SV650A. Evo Tech have actually confirmed it is a 11mm diameter spindle and when fitted and tightened there will be no issues.
