Yet another bike accident
Today (or rather yesterday) was my boyfriends birthday but plans for celebrating were abruptly cancelled after receiving the dreaded phone call that he`d been involved in an accident on his bike. The fireblade has apparantly faired better than him as i`ve just left him in hospital with 2 broken wrists and a broken knee. Surgery tomorrow on one wrist for pins and plates.
Can`t believe that an accident at 20mph could cause so much damage..... am totally gutted for him.... it`s horrible to see someone you care about in so much pain, it makes me feel sick thinking about it The birthday wine is about to be opened and I think i`ll consume a fair amount of it before sleep hits me tonight. Wishing Dave a full and speedy recovery and as he`s not the best of patients god help me once he`s home and demanding attention!!! |

Sorry to read this.
As for when he gets home, ffs girl you is a nurse, you know the score. Tell to stop malingering, you have had a hard shift, where is your dinner and why is the wine not chilled? He will soon get himself sorted.

Re: Yet another bike accident
Oh dear, what did he do?
It's amazing what damage 20mph can do if you land badly. 2 broken wrists - I'm assuming he went over the front? GWS Dave! Sure Claire will look after you |
