I've decided to leave work soon then panic buy loads of cheese, pate, wine, smoked chilli relish, crackers, and maybe some M&S melting middle chocolate puddings. If I get snowed in at least I will enjoy it - who the hell wants to eat just bread and drink milk?

My daughter is intending to come over the M62 this evening. Very little snow here. So what is it like over the tops?

More importantly will tomorrows game against Charlton be on?

At least four inches here (Four Marks, Hampshire). A31 pretty much dead, school bus driver gave up when he saw a snow plough sliding sideways through the village. So all the kids are at home.

Had to go out and help Father-in-Law get his car up the hill to the house (works shifts, wasn't snowing when he went to work....). Nice little layer of ice under the snow on the non-gritted residential roads.... His mondeo was wheel spinning up the hill even in 3rd!. Much digging and pushing but we prevailed!

Traffic through the village not helped by his neighbour abandoning his BMW in the middle of the A31 near Tesco..... muppet!

Just had a look on the HA cameras. There's virtually no snow over the tops at the moment. Looks fine to me.

Snow angles???

No snow here! Gloriously sunny in Glasgow it doesn't happen very often so I'd go out on the bike but the Dukes Pass has been shut regularly recently... Wheres the fun in that

The head groundsman would have me shot. The fox has been jogging around out there though.
