Wow I wouldn't want to be your renewal. Why don't you get the bits off Ebay? You'll be done in half the time and half the price. Granted you might not find a fairing on there but you could possibly have the plastic bits welded and sprayed. Just food for thought.

Bleh, another 100 quid spent on the bike. Mind you I don't begrudge paying it because I knew it was coming. My bike had a KellyJo moment yesterday. I got all geared up and preped ready to go for a spin, thumbed the started and I think it turned over twice before there wasn't enough power in the battery. Even tried bumping it but it wouldn't go, in the end I got it going by jumping it off the car.

Left it running for about 10 mins or so, turned it off thinking there should be enough power in it to start it. So got all geared up again, thumbed the started and nothing once again. So off to St Neots motorcycles for a new battery and while I was there I picked up a optimate 4 that I've always wanted.

I hope it was the battery that's gone and not something else, I might have to consult the Haynes and do a continuity check. Anyway I'm off to do some riding that I missed out on yesterday.

Bought a new car yesterday

Can't pick it up for 3 weeks as I have to wait for the previous owner to swap the private plate to his new car - sooo excited

Its a Honda Accord Type-R if anyone was wondering!

I like to think of myself more of a "man-racer" lol

I went for the Accord because the insurance is so reasonable - half the cost of something like a Subaru Impreza Turbo! £278 fully comp with protected no claims - I am 32 and Mrs Skip is 25 - I thought that wasn't too bad at all for a 210hp car!

Ever thought about moving to Essex. I hear that Tesco's car park on a Friday night is the place to be Skip.....and cut your grass.
