sure about £10.00 at a bike shop, or get yourself a repair kit from hein gericke or similair place.

Depends on the size and location of the hole in the tyre.

If its in the middle of the tyre then it probably can be, if its close to the edge or the side wall than I'm pretty sure that it can't.

Best bet would be to phone a tyre shop. They might even do it for you for £20 approx.

its in the tread pattern near the center not on the tyre surface so its not in contact with the road.

Do not consider a roadside repair kit as a permanent repair, they're only intended for limited speeds and emergency use, at the very least the inside of they tyre will need to be examined by somebody who knows what they're doing in order to ensure that a repair is appropriate, most are but some punctures can damage either the tyre liner or the structure of the tyre, it must be checked.

This was a screw about an inch or 2 long. It was repaired by a bike shop (£25) and has lasted very well, at all speeds.

Can you not post a bigger picture?

I can't quite make out the screw there.
