Hmm, it's 4:00 and there is nothing on itv4 - just a sign saying the channel isn't on air until 6:00.

I just spoke, politely, to a lady at Telewest at 16:10. They weren't informed by ITV that ITV 4 would begin broadcasting two hours early today and so aren't configured to transmit the channel.
I expressed my disappointment in a very restrained manner.  TBH, she was as helpful as she could be. She sounded a little harrassed, I think she'd had to field a couple of irate calls already. Sounds like a f@ck up by ITV to me. Not happy but life goes on.
