Re: New bike home
Cool, I had similar weather picking mine up all those years ago!
Mine didn't have a fenda extender, so suffered the dreaded 325cc Sv when i went through some big puddles

Re: New bike home
Luckily she has a fender extender fitted even in rain massive smile all the way for the 50 mile journey. Was smooth ride and felt comfy all the way. Did stop for a coffee at a garage forn20 mins when it got a bit too much and had to take the more direct route so hoping for some better weather when I have a couple of weeks of work soon

Re: New bike home
Nice bike. I see you are in Liverpool which is coincidental because I picked my bike up from Liverpool last Wednesday and rode it 250 miles home to Kent in thrashing rain. She's not new, but in great nick for a 2001 and only 8420 miles!

Re: New bike home
Thanks Guys! Yes, I hate to admit this, but my new full face hadn't arrived so I used my open face and goggles - it was like a thousand injections per minute in the face! It was OK after the first hour coz my face was completely numb...
Yeah, I am thinking of foam grips, my hands don't have the flesh on them that they used to so it is hard on the hands and wrists. Please enlighten me: Curvy? Pointy? <sigh> Another new language to learn! |
