Default Oil Cooler Lines

Got an oil leak from the middle of the long line. Has anyone made up their own lines to replace the stock items?

if the banjo's are ok then you could try a plumbing flexi and a cppl clips. as long as the bore is the right size then all will be well.

I looked at this but ended up buying a whole oil cooler off ebay for less than this would have cost.

Trying to find a replacement line is frustrating. In the UK they're like rocking horse dung, and really expensive to buy new, but in the states you can get them for a few dollars but the postage is obviously very expensive.

Cheers chaps, fired Earls a mail and ended up getting a set from there, £52 posted. Not cheap but looking at second hand and new prices not to bad.

Shall update thread when I get them, guess the price isn't bad just an expensive self created problem lol. Fitted my new sprocket carrier bearing today also so now if I can get the exhaust studs sorted the bike can go back on the road.

Do you need to prime the oil cooler to get air out or anything prior to refitting?

I didn't when I replaced mine. Just drained the oil first, replaced the cooler and refilled.

I'm surprised you couldn't get someone like Pirtek to make a set up.
