Pointy cutting out and speedo random numbers.
Ridin today the bike went mental what can it be?
Speedo jumping to 186 and bike turning off! Wouldnt start again then randomly did. Help!!! |

When it turns itself off does everything go off i.e. like it's got no battery?
Easy stuff first - check the battery connections are clean and tight. It might be as simple as that. If not, you're on to checking the battery and charging system are in good condition, checking the loom for damage and the connectors for corrosion. Some pointy models have suffered from shorting in the green ignition connector at the front of the bike. |

Loose battery connection also can cause this.
