Default Bonus

I am pi55ed off with the banks attitudes of paying outrageous bonuses to incompetent management
Even I could f--k up as well as what they have done and settle for half of the bonus
I think it is obscene that banks that are being bailed out with tax payers money and paying bonuses
I would consider myself thankful that I still had a job

Perhaps I am being a bit naive but surely you pay bonus out of profits not losses

Makes me sick to think of the pigs in the trough with no regard for the common peoples lives they have affected and because of the salaries they received it will have no reflection on their lifestyle

my thoughts exactly. Our bonuses are given out to a strict code, we do all the serious hard work for our company, and if you falter on one point, its no bonus for you. I think that the banks bigwigs should be made to pay back their bonuses, as they've made so much of a c0ck up, and won't lend owt. After all they get paid more than a heart surgeon does, to quote one MP yesterday. It leads me to believe that all this 'non lending' is to boost their profits, so they all get paid the big fat bonus

example Barclays announced that they made a 6 billion pound profit today, even after all the problems of the credit crunch and bailing out another company

And? If they don't make a profit their shares become worthless and the bank collapses entirely.

of course they have to make a profit, they have to, if only a small one (which I presume 6 bill is) ....but I bet they still pay themselves bonuses, is what i was getting at.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jacqui Smith's little confession ...

She registered her sister's address as her 'main' residence so she could claim the £23k a year allowances on her home, as a 'second-home allowance'.

No wonder she was keen for the expenses to be blocked

Surely that is fraud? She should surely be facing criminal proceedings for this? Or did she make the admission under the cover of Parliamentary Privilege?

I'd be doing her for Malfeasance in Public Office to!

So, 3 weeks ago when a consultant was sticking a pacemaker in my shoulder my bank manager was bending me over and shoving his **** up my ****. At least they're both giving something to their customers, but to be honest I don't want the rogering, I've been through enough already.

I personally don't think bonuses are an incentive and a bit of a waste, financially anyway. But what can I say, I work in retail part time, my bonus last year was less than £50 but its better than nothing!
