The EAR Border Crossing Rideout. 20th June.

I finally got round to test riding the route and I have to say it's not too bad overall. It has got a couple of dull and boring bits but if I loosed them I loose the really good bits too.

There's a fuel stop 40 miles into the ride in Ramsey. There can be another one added after lunch if someone needs it. Lunch is at Rutland Waters where there's a nice cafe that does CHIPS as well as other hot food. If people want to come for the Perry to Rutland part that's fine, but you will miss out on a very nice return leg back to Perry.

When are you hoping to get to Rutland water, as I woudl meet you there for second route

I left Perry at 10:50 and got there for 1:30 without doing the scheduled fuel stop. Keeping in mind we are leaving at 10 and have the fuel stop I'd say we should be there for about 2'ish but it all depends on what happens on the day.

I'm away that weekend up in Melton Mowbray with SWMBO and future mother in law.
