Default Changing front end.

Hi all,

Anyone changed the front end of an SV for a ZX10 wheel and forks? A friend asked if it was possible....

I know they get changed for GSX-R front ends for Thunderbike racing, but he's already got the ZX10 bits.

Anyone know if they will fit - whats the score with compatibility of yolks and steering tube etc?

Thanks.

havnt herd of a zx10 front end on the sv yet but im sure if it didnt just bolt on whice it probley wont it could all be made fit with the money thrown at it.

just sell the zx10 bits and buy a gsxr front and keep it all OE suzuki parts then.

That would be your easiest way to go, and in my opinion the best way to go! The other would be to make up some yokes for the SV that will hold the ZX forks, this will cost though!!!

The ZX forks probably fit in GSXR yokes, which are easy to fit, then it's just a question of width at the axle. But most ZX10R forks aren't especially great either. There's 2 reasons everyone recommends the GSXR forks, 1), they're easy to fit and 2) they're pretty good. I suppose 3) is that they're plentiful and have good interchangability, but 1 and 2 are enough
