Back on an SV, been a while
Just saying hello really.
I’m based in Surrey and after a 6 year break I’m back on 2 wheels and have gone back to what I started out on. My first bike was a black 99 SV and it was great. It was mostly used for commuting in all weathers and learning the ropes on but I loved it. Sold my last bike about 6 years ago when I got a new job and it just wasn’t getting used and have missed it ever since. As I feel like a new rider again I’ve gone back to where I started and got another SV. A nice blue pointy this time around. I’ve got to say I am loving it, apart from the indicators which, although looking good, give off no light and will have to go. Hopefully see some of you out and about, either around Surrey or Suffolk. |

Welcome along Jay. That’s a very nice looking SV (for a pointy).

Re: Back on an SV, been a while
Good stuff - I've just returned to a (currently SORNd) SV after a few years off, last bike was a Fazer 1000 with exactly twice the power of an SV but half the fun.
