Default Ali radiator

Has anyone used the Ali radiators that are on eBay. I have a leak from the filler neck on my curvy and am looking to replace the rad and don't fancy a second hand one.

Not used one but a friend of mine has, not sure exactly who he bought it from but tbh it looked like a good quality bit of kit, very nicely finished too. Haven't heard any negative reports from him as yet so can only assume it's all good.

I bought this one:

ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminum-Radiator-FOR-05-09-SUZUKI-SV650S-SV-650-K5-K9-SV650-Replacement-UK-SHIP-/192914634899

But paid £49 for it last July. I bought the SV radiator for a non-SV project (SZR660, which isn't yet running), so I can't comment on fit or durability, but it looks good.

Thanks for the info. The one in the link looks like the one I was looking at but obviously with different outlets. Have bit the bullet and ordered one and some new silicone hoses.

Hey sev have you any update on this as I'm actually looking at one too and these look really appealing price wise.

The one that I ordered didn't fit, the inlet on the left side hit the frame before the bottom mount lined up. Sent it back and got a delkavic one. That fits better but not perfect.

there are 6 different rads. Mk1 (curvy)sport, Mk1 (curvy) N, Mk2 (pointy) K3 sport, Mk2 (pointy) K3 N, Mk2 K4> sport/N, Gladdy and the new Mk3.

the naked rads are usually longer than the sports.
