Alpinestarhero Down
Hi all
Matt had an off about 5 minutes ago, an idiot in a car did a U Turn in front of him on the A41 Finchley Road. He's ok, bike is pretty damaged. Front bearings are gone, headlights broken and a few other things. Basically the bike is un-rideable. I can't get to him but he is getting a recovery van back to mine. He's asked if anyone is around at some point to look at the bike and give him an idea of what else he might need fixed. He got the guys insurance details and took some photos. No-one stopped to help. Will keep you posted. |

Oh crud!
Maria, give him a big sloppy kiss from me (It'll probably loose something in the translation, but I doubt he'll mind) I'd doubt I'll be the first available to help assess the bike, but I do hope that he's not too sore following the off. Horrid feeling.. GWS mate, hope the bike's not too goosed. Jambo

Re: Alpinestarhero Down
Just got off the phone to him, he's fine, bike is a bit of a mess, but will be looked at by Rictus later today, so probably back on the road by tea-time, knowing Marks skill and range of spare SV bits

Bum deal. That road is well covered by TFL cameras. You really need a witness but maybe the cameras saw it???

Re: Alpinestarhero Down
Glad to hear your OK.
was there any police intervention? If the camera saw it then maybe a police car should have been despatched?
