Default Curvy antifreeze leak

Put a new battery in my 2002 sv650s.
Been sitting for 10 months since I got hit by a car.
Fired right up, ran fine , rode about 5 miles and when I got back antifreeze was dripping from the left side case cover.
What's leaking???

Either a coolant pipe has perished or split, or possibly the clout by the cart has dislodge a pipe from its union. Or you may have a radiator leak.

Can you clean and dry the whole area and dust it with talcum powder Bill? That should give you some idea about where it's coming from.

If you need a radiator I've got one in my garage.

Thanks Gary !
Yes, Leaking from the union on the front cyl.
I'll get a new one and an o-ring and a new pipe for good measure while I have it off.
Crusty looking bolt holding it down. 🙄
Hopefully soaking it with penetrating oil for a few days prior will help.

Excellent, easy fix hopefully. Let us know how you get on. Pictures maybe for those who've not had to deal with anything like this before?

I'm looking for a radiator, what's the condition of the radiator you have and how much do you want for it?
