Default Numpty this morning....

......on a red traily.

Nearly ran in to the back of a truck and then nearly pulled straight out in front of an Astra at a roundabout 100 yards later.

The worst part is it was me !

Ah, but it was a trials bike. Those things just beg to lift a wheel in the air.

Stoppie to avoid hitting the truck, wheelie away from the roundabout to make the astra hit the brakes.

Actually the problem is the opposite, its so slow.

On the SV I would have been across the roundabout safely before the Astra had even seen me.

Don't know if I managed a stoppie, I was braking really hard (wet road too). Glad I replaced the stock chinese trail tyres with some Avon Distanzias otherwise I would have been up the road or in the back of the truck (probably both !)

to Avon ! awesome grip.

At the end of the day there is no excuse for bad riding, which is exactly what caused the problems.
Ride to the limitations of your machine and the prevailing conditions, which is exactly what I didn't do.
