Default 855miles of SVing in a day

Has anyone been further? I hadn't been on the bike for 4 months but did it on friday coming up from italy to calais. Only got stopped by the tunnel and riding in the uk for the first time in 2 years shouldnt be done in the dark and when tired.

The thou felt at home on the autoroute, fully luggaged it did an effortless 90mph at 5500rpm was pefectly stable and was doing just under 50mpg.

Time to give it a good clean now its back on home soil, and get it ready for the next trip.

Only 885! Should have manned up and done the other 145 miles. If only for the perfect title. A thou on a thou

Seriously though, that is some achievement. =D>=D>

690 when I went to John'O Groats and a bit back. Mostly A & B roads so a lot of twisty riding, pretty tiring. Think It was about 12 hours with stops for food drink and the bikes drink. 210 mile on a tank... wouldnt have wanted to take it much further on that tank!!!

I found it ok to be honest, 3 days of riding and not really any pains or aches at all

I take my hat off to you mate , I have done 600 in a day , but that involved going to London and back to pick up a motorcycle and I did it on a GSX1400 ....... I have yet to do more than 400+ in a day on the SV .

Impressive numbers! Not done anything close to that - I think 350 is about the most I have done in one day.

I did similar, around 850 miles on my speed triple in one day.

150mile blat in the morning in the south of france, from Troys to Dijon. Then headed somewhere but ended up on my way back to London. I got lost ended up at peak time filtering arround the peripherique in Paris .

750 in the day, up to Crinnan & back in the highlands on an RF 600, 19 hours & 6 fuel stops, all cos me mate with his CBR1000, saw it on "wish you were here" billed as serving the best Seafood in Britain and fancied tryin' some

Tasted pretty ordinary to me.........
