Removed Front Wheel, Front Break Lever Further Out
Hi guys,
I removed the front wheel of my CBR600RR last week due to a puncture. Having refitted it all seems well except that my front break lever is much further out than I am used to. I have tried adjusting the lever and checked that the breaks are properly attached etc but I still cannot work out why they have moved. This is not the first time I have had the callipers out as I have changed pads, cleaned callipers, break fluid etc before with no issue. I just cant work out why my breaking position has moved. When riding the bike the breaks have good feel and stopping power, so no indications of a problem there. Do you have any suggestions on what may have happened and things I should check. I would just ignore this, but as it is my front break I want to make sure I have not mucked anything up. Thanks, Jon

All I can think of is the adjustable lever - but you seem to say you have checked this?

How strange! All I can think of is that there is or was a problem with the master cylinder but I haven't the foggiest why that'd happen.

Re: Removed Front Wheel, Front Break Lever Further Out
Right - will remove and replace again just to be sure. Was rather spirited on the way home tonight and no issues at all.
