The new stand opened at Lord's today so we had The Duke of Edinburgh in to cut the ribbon. Ahead of his visit we had the usual security checks.

Fitted the yokes last night. Ended up being a bit of a pain as the new bottom bearing wouldn't fit correctly. With a wee bit of sanding, she went in.

Miniature wasp bikes in my shed. Looked like this guy was the last to move out. There was a little pile of stuff on the floor underneath it

Just moving in! That's a fresh new nest. Found a similar one in my shed a couple of years ago, with all the cells filled with little baby b@stards.

Welp, they're gone now anyway. It just crumbled away to nothing when i took it down

That is actually how the queens overwinter, she feeds of the larvae till it warms up enough to bugger off and set up a proper shop elsewhere.
