Default Coolant pipes

Hiya,

Just a quick question please,
I have a 01 Sv650S, when the bike is left over nite the thick black hose at the right side of the bike, which comes from the radtiator is very squishy. When the bike startes it starts to firm up wih the water pressure. I was wondering if this is normal. The radiator is full of fluid and anti freeze sooooooo........any help appreciated.

Thats Ok then, thought it might have been a problem with my water pump or summit. I was expecting driving along the road and over heating my bike, but if yours does that if sure mine will be healthy.

Thanks for the promt reply.

Thats perfectly normal. Over night as the coolant cools, the pressure will drop making it easier to squeeze the coolant pipe.
When you start the bike, the pressure will increase as the water is pumped through the engine and this increase in pressure makes the pipe harder to squeeze.
So... don't worry about it... just ride it!!
