Emergency killswitch bypass
Hi all,
I've started experiencing problems with my k6 (naked) that I can only describe as a faulty killswitch- it'll run but it'll need constant throttle attention to stop it from cutting out and also it'll backfire. I'm asking for help to bypass it as I'm travelling at the moment and haven't access to a new part- what do I need to do? Help always appreciated- Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Emergency killswitch bypass
doubt its the kill switch, more likely to be wet front plug.
try these: put bike in gear with sidestand down and hold the front brake with the clutch lever out then try and start the bike. does it want to start? same as above but with sidestand up. does the bike want to start? as above but with clutch lever pulled in and sidestand down. does the bike want to start? now put the bike in neutral and the sidestand up and pull the clutch in with the kill switch in the off position. does the bike want to start? usually a dodgey kill switch will show CHEC on the gauges. when was the last time you checked your oil level? |
