Why do you think you need bigger?

Everyone is saying it's a ytx12 that goes in that is bigger than the ytx9

It would help if you put your year and model under your Avatar just in case there are differences.

My 1999 Curvy takes a 9 of whatever brand but I've just looked in my Haynes and it says YT12A-BS :O

It's the dimensions that count methinks once you get up to the 9 or 12 as these numbers are the storage capacity in amps. You can get a 9 amp storage with the greater CCA amp than a 12 amp storage but with the same dimensions :/

Here's a useful link,

https://www.tayna.co.uk/Suzuki-SV650...es-D15373.html

But for my model and year.

I have used and like Motobatt batteries. They have a really good CCA(Cold Cranking Amps) and store well but I keep mine regularly on my Oxford 601 charger.I fitted a fused SAE connector

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Battery-Te...wAAOSw4DJYldjo

to my battery for ease of connection.I just had to make sure the SAE connector going to the Charger had the correct polarity when I soldered it up.

If and when mine goes this is the one I'll most likely get,

MBTX9U

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motobatt-M...AAAOSwUBlZp7hN

A decent battery Tender/Charger pays for itself by not only ensuring the bike always starts but by also prolonging the battery life

And as I'm a kinda,"Belt and Braces" kinda guy also recently bought one of these,
