99 sv650 rear brake hose spring clip size? - SV650.org

Anyone know what size the rear res hose spring clip in the picture is please as mine seems to have rotted away. 99 sv650.

How are those clips measured?

you measure hose clips by the hose OD.

Geo just put a cabletie on it instead of the clip, there is very little pressure.

I have easy access to mine at the moment. I unclipped it from the reservoir and slid it down the hose, it was still under slight tension but I measured it at 16mm. I would assume that 15mm would be what you are looking for. However I have another clip, very similar but not the exact same design that I measure at 14mm. If I were needing to replace mine I'd use the 14mm that I have as I expect it would fit.

If you want I can send it to you? Not sure how fast you need it or how difficult it would be to get one at your end.

Cheers for the replies lads (i love the org always helpful) I was being tight and didnt want to order one from my dealer at £1.83p so thats why i was after approx size but Bibs super tight tip will save a few pence until i get a cheaper right size clip
