Where's a good garage for service in central/south london?

Chas Bikes in Waterloo are superb, just down the road from Waterloo station - you dont need to book as they have about 5 mechanics working on bikes at any one time, I usually just turn up and the bike is sorted by end of the day if its an easy fix. Very cheap too - took bike in today and paid £20 for puncture repair and £45 to have my calipers stripped and cleaned, I was well impressed . The blokes in there are super- efficient and very friendly, I live quite a long way from them but they are so good I'm willing to make the trip across london.

I'm gonna try Chas bikes later this week, had a few others recommend them as well. I'll keep you updated.

Slightly delayed response - ChasBikes have done nearly all the work I've had done on my SV, and I've found them to be excellent. Good fast service, reasonable prices, and most importantly I've never had to go back to have a problem looked at again.

Anyone know if Chaz bikes open up at 8am?

I believe they open 8:30am and close at 6pm - but they are also open all day saturday and sunday, which is handy
