Hi Dipper
My folding lever came from eBay and cost £32 delivered. It fits, but has the following problems: Listed as for an SV650/S it is actually a 'universal fit' item (that's code for doesn't fit anything properly). It has a couple of kinks in it which the original doesn't and so it needlessly swerves away from the engine, plus - and most importantly - it has a cast feature which projects inwards to take the return and rear brake light springs which is wrong for the rear brake light as it is too low causing the spring to be under too much tension and so the light is on all the time. In short, it will do at a pinch if you don't want a rear brake light, but I'm sending it back. HTH |
