Cheaper to use couriers these days, my son sold his old PS2 on Ebay, RM wanted nearly £10 to post 2nd class. UPS collected from my house on Friday and delivered it today for £5.99 + vat, and its all tracked.

£3.99 is the cheapest i can find add to that the cost of the packaging and its £4.20 to send a feckin envelope a hair over 25mm actual hight is 27mm but since it wont fit threw their little letter window (which is about half the size of letterbox) they hit you for an extra £4.50

even using that drop off at shops service with 40 parcels is still £3.99 a parcel.

Tell Amazon about the cost of posting things these days, as they're well out of touch.

I set up a market place account to sell some of my Dad's books, as I get a market price for them, better than taking a chance on EBAY and selling them too cheap.

Sadly some of the profits went on covering the extra postage, as Amazon only give me £2.80, no matter how big or small the book is.

This is reduced the amount we gave to my local Air Ambulance.

I only use RM for small stuff these days, but we still have the cheapest rates in Europe, apparently?

At work, we've started emailing invoices and statements out to customers. We were thinking about it to save paper anyway but when RM got silly with their pricing it started looking like an even better idea. And we frank our mail so it's only gone up to 31p for second class, I feel sorry for anyone paying for actual stamps.
