Default Battery & R/R relocation help.

In the process of converting a curvy SV650 from road to track, would people mind posting up a photo of where they've relocated the battery and reg/rec?
Cheers, Dave.

Hello Phil, no I didnt buddy, couldn't get the funds sorted in the end, gutted as I had my heart set on that little stroker!
Never mind, thanks for the offer of helping me getting her back down south though mate.

With the fireblade seat unit going on I can't fit my battery under the seat so it'll
have to go towards the front somewhere! Had a few suggestions off the Minitwins Facebook site.

If you get yourself a teeny tiny race battery they might still fit under the seat. Otherwise yeah most people move it to the front which may or may not help weight distribution. Opinion is divided it seems.

We kept the reg-rec at the back of the subframe in an airflow. Not got any pictures now though

Sorry guys, been snowed under with work and no time in the man-cave.
I did move the battery to the front but it meant I couldn't take it out to trickle charge it without too much messing around with hard-to-reach bolts etc. (no power in garage - which is in a block).
So I'm back to the drawing board, might have to invest in a slimmer battery as it also looked like it'd foul the fairings if I left it there.

Any photos Rockchunk? Could do with some inspiration!

Nice place to put the RegReg is on the left side of the bike under the left upper engine mount.
Use a 15cm strip of ally and bolt it up to the upper mount, placing it here will allow it to be connected straight to the alternator and it will be in the airflow past the engine.

Ive put the starter relay on the right side (inside frame just behind the front engine mount), as ive removed the stock water overflow bottle (got smaller one( it has freed up one of the mounts which the relay bracket can bolt to.

I am going to mount the ignition unit on the inside of the frame.
