The bike still looks and sounds fantastic, despite it's age.

Poor old Goose - got roasted in the end
 and frightened poor ol' Max half to death when his charred hand fell out from under the bed cover!   Kundalini never got his hand back either!

I think he just broke his leg after that crash - he gets badly burnt a bit later in the film when his car crashes and catches fire - IIRC - (which I should - Ive seen it so many times I end up saying all the lines!
 )
