The Abba is good but the NWS is better, I've owned both and I'd always take the NWS for preference.
It needs no adaptors like the Abba does, and I find it more stable. None of this suggests that the Abba is poor, far from it, just that I find the NWS a little easier to use and a little more convenient. NWS Ulti-Pro

my £30 motorax 1 does the job, i also spent £15 on the hooks for bobbins, then spent £25 on r&g swing arm protectors and bobbins (but you can buy ones for about £8

I love my ABBA... Though I think Sid's right that the NWS is a little better. Either way, fantastic stands. So much safer and more solid than a rear stand, you can quite comfortably remove the whole front end (for example) without fear of it falling, or remove the rear shock (impossible with a swingarm stand)
I suppose it depends what you want to do with it. If you just want to oil your chain more easily, or take on other lightweight jobs, get a cheapo Bike It or similiar stand. If you want something that'll take on practically any job you throw at it for years, get an NWS or Abba. Alo, if you're nervous about using stands, the Abba's easier to use solo, there's basically no chance of dropping the bike. Though TBH there's no real chance of dropping the bike with a rear stand if you do it right.
