Re: More Wii gaming
i was considering getting goldeneye for the wii as I loved it on the 64 too....spent far too much time with mates playing it.
i haven't bought it yet as a bit pricey and i was thinking you needed the gun extention thing to make it good...is it good without it? |

29.99 in sainsburys and I play it without the gun and special controller ect.
Has to be worth 30 quid. I must have spent about a year or so in time on the 64 version! |

Re: More Wii gaming
Golden eye was brilliant. I remember getting it for christmas when it came out and we'd spend hours playing it.
I actually bought a N64 the other year again just to play it, but as always, it never seemed the same The older I get the more boring games seem to be! |

I've been tempted a few times but have made the mistake of playing old games and have always been let down by them. It's never the same |

Re: More Wii gaming
It's because your standards are raised, look at games like black ops, you would never expected that 10 years ago, but that game in 10 years will seem a bit outdated.
Saying that I still play phoenix every now and then from Atari days, love that game, but I couldn't play for hours like I could back in the day, they just don't hold your attention as much as up to date games. |

Re: More Wii gaming
Even things like black ops arent holding my attention anymore. I tend to go on it for 10 minutes then turn it off now. Only got to level 50 on monday
