Default Rider down - broken clutch pedal / wing mirror and indicator - thankfully

Hi all, just had a runner take me out and run off, bike is bruised but broken clutch pedal.

I have a recovery truck on route, but will need to ride to local garage and wondered if any macguyver methods in changing gear.

Unfortunately no crash bungs on the frame

Thanks.

Sorry to hear that mate. If the lever is busted, it's game over until you can put another on.

Glad you're OK. Look on the bright side, it's a good excuse to upgrade mirrors and indicators.

Ah bad luck mate, assuming you have an SV I was looking at how well R@G bungs would protect my fairings by lining up a board from my tyre edges to my bike bodywork. Think the fairings wouldn't, well fair too well.

Nope. Not at all. Bar ends saved me to be honest, go faster stripes (scuff) on nose cone but that's it.

Sorry to hear that, was it actually a bloke running that ran into you?

I've got a half-faired pointy with R&G bungs, it fell off the side stand last year. The bungs stopped the fairings, bar ends etc hitting the deck, but the toe peg broke off the gear lever, which made the rest of the ride interesting

Aye, the bungs are good if you're half faired, but less useful if you have the full fairing.
