Not sure if the deal is still on at the moment. But Michelin often have a £30 cashback deal on when getting a pair of tyres fitted.

When I was running Power RS+ and Power GP's on my S1000R I think I only missed out on the deal once in 6 sets of tyres.

All done now for me and wallet £590 lighter for two new tyres fitted and first year 7500 mile service. Ouch.
(Incidentally ,there are some scuff marks on the nice blue rims after tyres fitted.)

Never heard of that but worth bearing in mind for the future as I seem to be going through a set of tyres each year. How does it actually work ?

You buy the tyres and pay full price.

The receipts I get from the tyre place I use are emailed to me, but if you get a paper one you can just scan it to your computer as long as it has the supplying dealers details on it.
Upload the receipt alomg with your details to the Michelin promotion website.

£30 is credited back in to your bank account after 2 or 3 weeks.

I havent used it recently so the deal may not still be on? But it is one that they keep bringing back every now and then, but its has to be on a pair of tyres and not just a single tyre.

Michelin Road 5 tyres seem ok so far after a few hundred miles.

They are a decent tyre. We run them on my Mrs curvy and they suit that bike fine, infact they are a great tyre.

When I tried them on my S1000R though inwas really indifferent about them, in the cold, wet winter / early spring months they were great. As soon as things warmed up and they could be pushed a little more I found them lacking and with unpredictable grip levels.

But for these little bikes they are spot on.
