Yep. The thought of how hard I've had to work the last year to try and bring debts down and now someone does this. Although I'm almost not as annoyed losing the money as I am knowing there is someone sitting somewhere with four peoples money benefitting from making the world a crapper place. My faith in people has plummeted quite dramatically in the last 24 hours.

Currently working at home doing more wheel building, trying not to think how many I need to do just to be back in the same situation I was a couple of days ago. It's feeling a bit pointless.

That's really crap Adam. There are some vile scumbags out there, with absolutely no morals about them at all. Hope the bank does the decent thing and sorts it out for you.

that is indeed carp Adam. i thought everyone knew that you dont pay a deposit or indeed anything till you see the vehicle and then its cash in hand.

at least my purchase is only £80 so no biggie if i loose it and besides paypal might refund me.... maybe.... doubt it.

No response from Action Fraud / Police so far. HSBC have been in touch and credited me 50 percent of the loss saying they realise they should do more to protect people and they are still trying to negotiate with the receiving bank.

That kind of lightens the load a bit getting at least half back, but still not great.
