I have always advised people against buying very low annual mileage cars because some things deteriorate more when the car not used regularly (they just sit there slowly rotting away while parts that should be moving seize and old petrol turns to sh!t and the oil that is probably full of acid from short runs eats the bearings away), seems may be the same with low mileage bikes, with modern materials and oils engines don't need a rebuild every 20K and will happily go into huge mileages if looked after and used regularly.

Batteries particularly suffer from being left without use (power going in and out).

I plugged in my Oxford Oximiser.
Battery was reading 13v and the bike started up when plugged in.
Was reading 14.9V when Idling.

I'm guessing that is too high assuming it works the same as a multimeter?

Bike started fine today with no choke so guess the symptom of a flat battery wasn't a flat battery? Smelt very rich when running.
I had it hooked to the oximiser for max 10mins yesterday.
Dodgy connection somewhere possibly.

Bike is cursed

As it's a curvy, the old stuck choke plunger or dodgy cable could be a cause?
