Default Michelin Pilot Road 3. Tyre review in BiKe mag.

Just read a tyre test in BiKe mag, these scored highest in the wet.
Interesting tread pattern.

Anybody tried 'em yet, or are they still too new?

Pity I recently fitted Pirelli Angels, I'd like to try these, as I do rate michies highly (Very happy with the Angels though).

I put an Angel on the rear of my Versys, then rode damn near 4000 miles across European motorways fully loaded. There's still 5mm of tread left and it was only slightly squared off when I got back (now sorted by doing some fast bends). The wet weather grip is very good and they just work with no fuss in the dry. I'm impressed with them

my sv came with a dunlop front and bridgestone rear when i bought it. i have recently changed to the road pilot 3. only done around 600 miles so far but what an improvement.
cornering is a lot better now as the bike goes where i want it to. ( it was all over the place previously).
when i had them fitted it was a really wet day but they still had loads of grip even though they needed scrubbing in. i paid for them on a ride in ride out basis. £260 fitted. have seen them cheaper online if u fit them yourself
