Default Brake pedal return spring.

Hey folks.. second time now the return spring on my rear brake pedal has gone missing..aye just up and sprung off.. I can see the two holes where the ends of the spring must go in..but just not sure which way it goes as the coil on the spring is closer to one end than the other. Can someone do me a favour and have a look at the which way the spring goes on a K6? Anyone else had this problem?

I've been riding mine without the spring for months. Sometimes the rear brake light switch sticks, but pulling the lever up with your foot is a good cure for this.

Stupid cost for the OEM spring IIRC.

I paid only 2 quid for the spring (ordered it through saltire) and also have been riding around without it for a couple of months but lets face it..easier and safer to have the brake come off automatically.

The brake light generally does turn off automatically.

And £2 for a diddly little spring?!?! Like I said, expensive.

Sorry Kwak, I know my K6 had one too, and it's now missing. I've talked to others that have had the same issue with K6's, possibly quite a common fault.
