aaahhh but there is a 5 year guarantee on electrical goods anyway, bit complicated but there is one. its the manufacturers that they refer to and dont tell people about the other one, for obvious reasons.

so poppickers would you take advantage of the guarantee or not, by which i mean eat half of the asda product and take it back for a refund and another one? so you would keep half take the other half back and state that you were not delighted.

for the tight fisted among us this could be a cracking way of saving a fair few ££££££££.

or do you think i'm just a typical scotsman?
Scot perchance??

I've never even noticed that on the packaging, I dont bother reading it. I just grab and go

but if I even bought something I hated in future I shall bear it in mind. TBH i wouldnt even be bothered to trek all the way back to ASDA to get a refund/replacemenr for a cheap item. And im sure they must have a catch - imagine someone turning up with a whole basket of food "i dont like any of this"

Nope - not random. It was a make they stocked, but there was no way of proving it was bought there. They just took me at my word.

well in my defence i was educated and brought up in Edinburgh until the ripe old age of 25 where, we all know people wear fur coats but no knickers. but since becoming a fifer with a fly attitude these thing seem to interest me more and more.

its not stealing if they make the rules
