EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
Has anyone here had any experience of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy? positive or negitive feed back would be good

We use that here at work (rehab) for those suffering from post traumatic stress disorders I believe. I understand that if you start the treatment, you should finish it.

I admit that when I first heard about this treatment I did think it was a load of rubbish. However, having been through an 8 week course of treatment for moderate / severe PTSD I can highly recommend it. It does leave you feeling absolutely drained for about 24 hours after a treatment session but the merits far outweigh the negative points.
