Yes, imagine running along and said big guy is behind you holding a rope attached to you holding you back as your running along, he will slow you down quicker than the small guy holding the rope.

I love riding the SV on quick twisty A and B roads at 7000-10000 rpm, at that engine speed it feels very responsive and gives a good punch out of the corners.
