PMSL...mate if i could think of something like this in this currnent economic state..... i'd be on bloody Dragons Den with it not givign it away for a project

A mini and I mean small maybe a foot wide turbine fan thingy that can be mounted to your roof and charge batteries in your loft. Hopefully it would be enough to feed the lights for some of the time.

i have considered that, but there are many cons to that idea. firstly it would need to be windy most of the time, you would also need many of the fans to generate sufficient power to be usefull. might be somewhat noisy too
